Course Descptions
Data Integrator Fundamentals
Description: Learn how to effectively use Pervasive Data Integrator Design Studio – the development environment for the Integration platform. Review Best Practices as well as the Integration Engine for deployment. The primary tools covered in the course include Repository Explorer, Map Designer, Process Designer, and the schema designers.

Advanced Integration Topics
Description: Take your knowledge and skill to the next level. You’ll learn how to create more robust solutions using additional product functionality. The primary tools used in this course include Map Designer, the scripting language, Process Designer and Join Designer.
Prerequisites: Attendees should be experienced Pervasive Data Integrator™ product users or those who have completed the Fundamentals course.
EDI/HIPAA Integration Techniques
Description: Take your knowledge and skill to the next level. You’ll learn how to create more robust solutions using additional product functionality. The primary tools used in this course include Map Designer, the scripting language, Process Designer and Join Designer.
Prerequisites: Attendees should be experienced Pervasive Data Integrator™ product users (or those who have completed the Fundamentals and Advanced courses) who will be using the software to develop solutions specifically around EDI data structures.
Profiling Data (Data Profiler / Data MatchMerge)
Description: In this training you’ll obtain skills to take control of your data by using Pervasive Data Profiler and Data MatchMerge to dive effectively into data quality issues. Learn to minimize the impact of dirty data on your workflow and processes with Data Profiler by isolating irregularities, business rule violations and other anomalies. Learn how to use Pervasive Data MatchMerge to identify data redundancies and merge analyzed records to create viable data.

Pervasive Extensibility - Connectivity via DMS/MCF Frameworks Developer Series
Description: Get the skills to extend the Pervasive Data Integrator platform by creating Message Component Framework (MCF) components and Data Mediation Services (DMS) connectors. MCF provides an extensible framework for connecting to various resources, message queuing systems, web services, and more within the Process Designer workflow application. DMS connectors provide a rich framework for developing drop down style connectors within Map Designer to assist in design time performance.
Prerequisites: Requires Java developer experience and a general familiarity with Pervasive Data Integrator™ (basic map and process building skills).
Development Tools: The Integrated Development Environment (IDE) used will be Eclipse. Customers are welcome to use NetBeans if preferred, but are asked to bring their own laptop with the NetBeans environment pre-installed.
Salesforce Integration
Description: This course is designed to enable users to develop Salesforce Transformation Maps and Process Designs using Pervasive Data Integrator™. The primary tools used include Map Designer and Process Designer.
Prerequisites: Attendees should have experience with Pervasive Data Integrator™ (preferably have taken a Fundamentals course) but at minimum have basic map and process building skills.
